The older Stormie gets the funnier she is.
I am going to write a few things that have happened lately so we do not forget them.

Yesterday, My mother in law and me were trying to hook a trailer to the truck and we were having a little trouble with it latching after trying a few minutes, Stormie comes over and says "Ya'll this is ridiculous!" We laughed so hard at her and agreed that it indeed was!

Later when Manche got off we went to go get that tiny trailer and put it on the big trailer, he loaded it without a sweat. And then I said to the kids Man he sucks talking about Manche and Seth says No we suck! And Stormie says and Mammaw too! HA HA we fell out laughing. She is saying this because none of us could get the trailer to work out for us ha ha!

She is a mess!!! She is so sassy and stubborn! Very independent! She can drive you crazy and make you love her so much more at the same time! She is one of a kind!

My Mammaw always says she thought they threw the pattern away when I was born but she thinks that she is wrong and the exact same one was used for Stormie. Says she looks and acts just like me! I think she is a lot like Manche on the inside cause she is a BIG daredevil and I am not! Something can scare her and she is gonna do it again she does not care! I say she is going to turn me grey and put me in an early grave from the stress of scaring me!

And here a few things about her currently at age 3 1/2.

She loves horses and loves pretending she is one. She will gallop like one move her head when she is running like one. She is always in horse mode! She blames stuff on the horse says its the horse not her! HA
She loves to swim and to play in the sand.
Her favorite foods are macaroni and cheese, noo noo (ramon noodles), waffles,ribs, yogurt and ICE CREAM! To name a few.
She loves to snuggle and still wants to sleep in my bed even though she just got a new bed with new horse covers.
She does not like to stay the night away from me. She is very attached and does not want to leave me. She has major separation anxiety!
Current movie she likes is Flicka 2.
Current tv shows are Dora and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
She loves to go riding in the rhino and checking the traps with her daddy.
She always wants to go coon hunting with Manche but she is scared of being out in the woods in the dark, so she don't get to go often.
She loves to jump on the trampoline and swing!
She loves shoes! Obsessed with them!
She loves to sing, she is constantly singing about anything and everything. Example is: Last night she was singing and then she hurt her finger and starts singing Ow I hurt my finger ha ha. She is so funny! Keeps us all smiling and laughing!
She thinks she does not have to listen to anything she is told. She is so hard headed!
She loves to brush her teeth and to take baths!
She loves our dogs but is soooo rough to them so they run when she comes near!
She is really into playing with her baby dolls she is so sweet showing how she is a momma to them :)
She says DUH after a lot of stuff!
She is real funny about her hair when we fix it to whether she wants one or two tails (what she calls pony tails)

She loves to play Seth's game although that is a rare occurrence. He does not like to share it!

So there are a few things about our little Princess to update you on her. I am going to try to start doing better about the blog. I never should have got this far behind! But that's life and some things are more important. :)

Thrift Store finds

Yesterday I went into our local thrift store looking for some props for my photography.

And well I had Stormie and her cousin Sadie with me and we ended up with toys. But I had to share this deal I got. I love when I get something so cheap!
Like Stormie's Leapster that we got from there for her birthday for 50 cents (Store bought is $50.00)

Back to our finds.
They knew where the toys were and so that is where they headed as soon as we rounded the corner I saw this Pink car it was in a bag full of other stuff for $1.50 I wanted the car and did not really know what was all in bag.

This car new probably was about $25.00

I brought everything home and immediately cleaned it all ;) I'm a germ freak!

This tea pot was in that bag also full of play dishes and utensils for her kitchen (another score)
And it had a brand new baby doll in it with tags still on it.
Then Stormie found this it's a "Little People" barn and it makes animals sounds. She loved this of course she needed this for all her horses she has! The Grey horse in front we also got from there. ( Which I had just been looking for this type of horse!)
It did not have people, but she already has a little people house with people :) That we got from consignment!
Ok so if you do not believe we got a steal of a deal check this price out for it new!
Here This says its $43.56! WOW!!! :)

And this has a zipper on its back so it can be used like a little purse
This I found in the back on the stuffed animals and its a purse and its a giraffe. Stormie LOVES it!
We also got Sadie a Fat Sheep (what she called it)

Then I found these two things.
Brands Sonoma (skirt) and Total Girl (pants) (Thinking JCP sells the pants brand) And the other is a Kohls item they sell
Also (not pictured) a coffee cup that looks like a turtle for kids
Similar to this one that I got Stormie the other day for 99 cents!
It does not have a lid with it. :)

And you are thinking I spent a good bit right?
Well we came out of there with ALL this stuff and I only spent :
$6.53

Yes you read that correct! Six dollars and Fifty- Three cents!!!
I love deals!! All the things I washed came out clean like NEW! So what kind of deals have you found lately?

Valentine's Day 2011

Valentine's Day 2011

I received a sweet little dapple dachshund puppy as my vday present! Just what I wanted! He is soooo precious! His name is Oscar!
Last night I got a bunch of goodies together to send in Seth's snack box.
I made him a personal message Hershey kiss, wrapped a candy bar with a message, made him a heart valentines shaped poem, and a v day personal card. Then I sent him with his favorite snack Pickle chips and Yoo Hoo.
This morning I made him waffles that were heart shaped to show him some more love!
Then I baked strawberry cupcakes with homemade cream cheese icing and let them decorate them :)
They had a blast!
They each got a little basket of goodies.
Seth got a chocolate fish, toy gun, huge punching balloon, jolly ranchers, hershey's cookies and cream candy bars, create a crystal rock kit and some Huge Gum.

Stormie got 2 baby horses, a horse with saddle and a girl (toys) , gum,cookies and cream candy bars, a heart shaped basket, huge punching balloon, Minnie Mouse gloves and some peppermints soft kind(her favorite).

I cooked some jambalaya and hoping that the rest of the day is amazing!
I am so blessed with a precious little family! I could not ask for more!
I have the most amazing husband on this planet that keeps me falling more and more in love with him daily!
He is my best friend and soul mate! I thank God for giving him to me and these two precious babies!
I blessed beyond words and I have so much love for these special people!
I do not need anything for Valentines because I already have the 3 best gifts ever!

Seth just recently got to have a tv in his room to play dvds. Well Stormie loves it and she wants to watch one movie over and over again! We are all tired of it, but she loves it and it keeps her occupied.
The first thing she says every morning is "I want to watch Pippi" and she goes to Seth's room.
On this morning she wanted Pippi and popcorn so that is what she got ;)

I got this movie for $6 and it was so worth it. She loves of course the horse and then she loves the singing.
She sings and dances with it, so cute! If your child has not seen this it is something to consider! Seth also likes it but not as much as Stormie!

Seth is having a Halloween Party today and last week we decided on what kid would bring what. I asked Seth what he wanted me to do and he said CUPCAKES!
So I got my creative juices flowing and the cupcakes turned out cute.

This is when I got this tent and it could be a swimming pool or sand box. Kids wanting swimming pool but a hole got punched in it so we had to make it a sand box.

They loved having the sand box. They still have it but with very little sand, not sure where it all went??
